Teaching  
Carrie Krekoski teaches in year 1, 2 and 4 of the Dental Hygiene Degree Program and year 1, 2 and 3 in the DMD program. She teaches in content areas related to communications, professionalism, behavioural sciences, trauma-informed practice, academic scholarship, and research methods. She has been the recipient of a UBC Dentistry teaching award, the CDHA Gold Medal (2010), and the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award (1990). 
 
Research  
Community-engaged learning; interprofessional education and collaborative practice; student well-being and resilience.  
 
Service  
Carrie Krekoski serves on a number of UBC committees related to practice education, interprofessional team-based care; teaching and learning in the health professions, resilience and well-being, and student affairs. She has served on several CDAC accreditation teams. She is also a CDHBC Quality Assurance Assessor and PLAR Assessor. She is an invited Elsevier peer reviewer for health and higher education journal submissions and a UBC Well-being Liaison.
