A 35-year-old male patient had symptoms at region 32 - 33. An 8 mm deep pocket was measured on the mesial surface of tooth 33. Sensibility test revealed that tooth 33 was vital and reacted comparably to tooth 43. However, tooth 32 was necrotic as revealed by sensitivity test with electric pulp stimulation. A radioghraph showed a radiolucent lesion between the roots of teeth 32 and 33 and a widened PDL space apically in tooth 32.
