Access cavity was made with a high-speed diamond and the canal and the invagination canals were localised. The rubber dam was applied and the working field disinfected with chlorhexidine-ethanol solution. The old root canal filling was removed with reamers and Hedstroem files without chloroform. One per cent sodium hypochlorite and 17 % neutral EDTA were used as irrigating solutions. The canals were filled with calcium hydroxide and sealed with Cavit-G and IRM. Two weeks later the calcium hydroxide dressing was changed. The tooth was symptomfree.
