Pulpitis - Follow-up & prognosis

All endodontically treated teeth should be control in a clinical and radiographical investigation. When the original diagnosis has been pulpitis, the first control is usually taken one year after root filling. The prognosis of pulpitis treatment is very good, between 85 and 95 %. This can be explained by the absence of microbes in the root canal in teeth with pulpitis.
