A working length radiograph was taken and the canals were prepared with ProTaper rotary instruments (to size F2) under constant irrigation with NaOCl. The apical canals were finished manually with NiTiflex K-files to sizes #40 (mesial canals) and #45 (distal canal) using the balanced force technique.
