A rubber dam was applied to the tooth and the tooth and the working field were disinfected. The root canal was localised with an operating microscope and the working length was established by using an apex locator. The working length was verified with a radiograph to 21 mm. The canal was prepared to size 60, and the canal was packed with calcium hydroxide. The access cavity was sealed with a temporary IRM topfilling.
