Tooth 47 presented spontaneous symptoms and was especially provocated by temperature variations. Radiographically a large temporary filling was seen extending close to the pulp. Periodontal ligament space was within normal limits. The diagnosis was symptomatic pulpitits and the treatment plan pulpectomy.
