Both canals were prepared using flexoreamers both in continuous rotation and with balanced force technique. As the biggest flexoreamer size is 40, nr. 45 and 50 NiTiflex K-files were used at the end of the preparation with balanced force technique. Hedstroem files were used in addition to help in cleaning and shaping the middle and coronal portions of the canal system. A second working length radiograph showed joining of the two canals before apex. This was indicated by tactile sense during instrumentation. The canals were constantly irrigated with 0.5 % sodium hypochlorite. At the end of the preparation the canals were irrigated with 17 % neutral EDTA and dried with large paper points avoiding overinstrumentation.
