A fourth canal was localised in the mesiobuccal root and instrumented. The final size for the prerarations was 45 for the MB1 and MB2 canals, 50 for the distal canal and 55 for the palatal canal. The canals were dried with paper points and a paste of Ca(OH)2 was packed in the canals with the help of a Lentulo spiral and paper points. IRM was used as a temporary filling.
