Two months later the patient returned with a sinus tract by the tooth 34. A fistulograph was taken to verify the origin of the sinus tract. The root canal filling in tooth 34 seemed unsatisfactory and the probable cause for new infection was thought to be coronal leakage. Conventional retreatment of tooth 34 was started.
