The microbiological sample showed growth of Actinomyces myeri (gram-positive facultative rod), Gemella morbillorum (streptoccous like organism) and an anaerobic gram-positive rod. New calcium hydroxide was packed in the canal. Zinc oxide eugenol topfilling was now packed also in the coronal 3 mm of the root canal. No antibiotics were given.
