Three months later the patient attented a new control. The tooth was symptomfree and the radiograph indicated ongoing healing. Calcium hydroxide dressing was changed once again for three months. Almost complete healing of the lesion could be detected and a decision was made to fill the root canal with a permanent root canal filling. A master point radiograph was taken with a nr. 70 gutta-percha point to verify correct length of the filling. The canal was then filled with a master point and several accessory points, all with sealer. Finger spreaders and cold lateral condensation technique were used.
