A radiograph revealed old root canal fillings in both central incisors. In addition, relatively large resorptions were observed at the cervical area of these two teeth. A diagnosis of cervical resorption was made for both teeth. No periapical pathosis could be seen. A decision was made of retreatment of the root canal fillings and surgical operation to clean and fill the cervical resorptions.
