The resorption had perforated the roots palatally in both teeth on a large area. This made control of bleeding difficult at the first appointment. Calcium hydroxide was packed in the canals and in the resorption cavities and the access cavities were sealed with IRM topfillings. The patient was informed about the size of the resorption and their effect on the prognosis, as the risk for tooth fracture was considerable.
