Rubber dam was placed, and the temporary filling was removed with sterile instruments after working field disinfection. Calcium hydroxide was removed by hand instruments and irrigation with ultrasound. Cleaning procedures were repeated to remove all residula necrotic pulp tissue.
New calcium hydroxide was packed, and the radiograph showed complete filling of the canal space.
