Multiple cervical resorption

Rarely, cervical resorption can occur as multiple cervical resorption. The resorption attacks several teeth at the same time and can rapidly result in extensive destruction and loss of teeth. The etiology of multiple cervical resorption is largely unknown. No systemic or local factor has so far been identified that might explain multiple cervical resorption. The treatment of multiple cervical resorption is technically difficult and often results in failure.
