A working length radiograph of tooth 45 showed one distal canal in tooth 46 and two obliterated canals in tooth 46. The molar crown was restored with a large amalgam filling extending apically to the gingival margin on the buccal surfaces of both mesial and distal root. Tooth 45 was filled with calcium hydroxide and sealed with a temporary filling that were left over summer.
