Three weeks after the first visit the patient was asymptomatic. It was then decided to obturate the canals at this point. The rubber dam was applied and the working field disinfected with chlorhexidine-ethanol. Ca(OH)2 was removed from the canals with the help of sodium hypochlorite and reamers with a final irrigation with 15% EDTA. A narrow ultrasound tip was used to facilitate the removal of calcium hydroxide.
