Microbial Complications: Treatment

When microbial complications occur, our efforts should be directed at preventing late consequences of contamination. During treatment, asepsis must be re-established, and often an additional 1 - 2 week period with calcium hydroxide is recommended. Special emphasis should be placed on the quality of both the temporary and permanent restorations to inhibit coronal leakage.
