Deeper in the buccal root, nr. 55 Torpan bur at slow speed was used because of lack of space for the round bur more coronally in the cavity. Several control radiographs with distal and mesial projection were taken to direct the burring. Nr. 08 and 10 K-files were frequently inserted into the bur canal to locate the root canal. Despite of careful burring and frequent radiographic control, the patient suddenly indicated a sense of pain.
