A nr. 10 K-file was again inserted in the canal, and when slightly curved at the tip, a perforation was located. No pus or blood came from the perforation. The root canals were packed with calcium hydroxide and sealed with Cavit-G and IRM. The buccal abscess was incised and the patient was given phenoxymethyl penicillin 660 mg x 3 for one week.
