The patient was contacted 2 weeks later by telephone: the tooth was symptomfree. One month later the patient returned for a second visit. The tooth was symptomfree and the sinus tract had closed. New calcium hydroxide was packed. Seven months later a radiograph revealed reduction in the size of the apical lesion.
