Digital radiography projections

CCD-type sensors, which are particularly suitable for endodontic radiography, are even more dependant on film holders (or sensor holders) than conventional films. This in turn further facilitates proper placement of the sensor in the mouth. Because of their structure and design, CCD sensors should preferably be used with paralleling techniques.

Central, mesial and distal horizontal projections are used as with conventional films.
