Calamus

Calamus flow obturation delivery system is designed for filling the root canals with a warm gutta-percha technique. The gutta-percha is packed in "drop-in, drop-out" disposable cartridges, which minimizes the need for cleaning and maintenance. Activation cuff around the circumference of the hand piece allows starting the flow of filling material by depressing any flat portion of it. By releasing the cuff the flow stops.
"Calamus Singles" gutta-percha cartridges are designed for single-patient use. Filling material indicator lets you monitor the amount of filling material remaining. Central unit console controls the heating temperature and flow rate of the filling material; preset buttons allow locking in desired settings. Calamus bending tool is included to easily bend the filling cartridges as needed. The cartridges are quite long and are available in sizes 20 and 23 gauge (0.9 and 0.6 mm).
